Lunar New Year Petition
NC Youth Impact (Jake Xu, Sunny Zhao, Mason Dupre) called for Lunar New Year to be recognized as a Teacher Work Day. They presented their case to the WCPSS Board of Education meeting. WCPSS has formally recognized Lunar New Year as a Teacher Workday on the official 2027–28 school year calendar.
