As part of this year’s AAPI Heritage Month celebration, the AAPI Poster Exhibition was successfully showcased at NC State University’s Talley Student Union, bringing student-created exhibits on Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) history to a university audience.

By bringing the exhibition into a university setting, students, faculty, staff, and community members had the opportunity to engage with AAPI history in an accessible and inspiring way, fostering cultural awareness, dialogue, and understanding.

The exhibition featured student-created posters highlighting significant historical events, influential figures, and the diverse contributions of AAPI communities to American society. Visitors were able to learn about stories and experiences that have shaped the nation’s history while celebrating the richness of AAPI cultures.

Adding to the excitement, the exhibition coincided with a campus flash mob celebration, creating an energetic atmosphere that drew additional attention and engagement from students and visitors. The combination of cultural programming, student creativity, and community participation helped make the exhibition a memorable part of AAPI Heritage Month.

We are deeply grateful to the NC State University team and Talley Student Union staff for their support and partnership in making this exhibition possible. Their encouragement and collaboration provided an excellent platform for youth voices and cultural education.
