NC Youth Impact was honored to be invited to the AAPI Month Celebration reception hosted at the North Carolina Executive Mansion by Governor Josh Stein.
The event recognized Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and brought together community leaders, elected officials, and youth organizations from across North Carolina.
As part of the celebration, NC Youth Impact presented its youth-led exhibition, showcasing student voices, cultural heritage, and community storytelling. The exhibition highlighted the creativity and leadership of young people engaged in civic and cultural initiatives across the region.
During the program, NC Youth Impact received special recognition from Governor Josh Stein and NC House Representative Ya Liu, who both gave public shoutouts to the organization. Their acknowledgment was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience, marking a memorable moment of encouragement for the youth leaders in attendance.
