The AAPI Poster Exhibition was successfully showcased at Ravenscroft School for the second consecutive year, continuing its mission of promoting cultural understanding and celebrating the history and contributions of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities.
The exhibition was originally scheduled to be displayed from May 4–8, 2026, reaching students across the Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School divisions. Led by student leader Charlotte Wang, who has coordinated the program since 2025, this year’s exhibition brought AAPI history and stories to students of all ages through engaging, student-created displays highlighting important historical events, influential figures, and cultural contributions.
Throughout the week, many students, faculty, and staff stopped by the exhibition to learn more about AAPI history and engage in meaningful conversations. The displays generated strong interest across campus and provided valuable opportunities for cultural learning and reflection.
One of the most encouraging outcomes was the enthusiastic response from the Upper School community. Due to the high level of engagement and positive feedback, the exhibition was extended for an additional week beyond its original schedule, remaining on display through week of May 15, 2026 so that more students and faculty members could experience the exhibition.
The continued success of the exhibition reflects the growing impact of youth-led educational initiatives and the importance of creating opportunities for cultural learning within school communities.
Special thanks to Charlotte Wang for her leadership and dedication, as well as the many students who contributed to poster creation, exhibition setup, and event coordination. We are also grateful to the Ravenscroft administration, faculty, and staff for their continued support and partnership in making this exhibition possible.
As the AAPI Poster Exhibition continues to grow, it remains a powerful platform for student leadership, cultural education, and community engagement, helping foster greater understanding and appreciation of the diverse histories and experiences that shape our society.
