We were delighted to conclude this year’s AAPI Heritage Poster Competition and Exhibition with a special Awards Ceremony at Cary Downtown Park.

Over the past month, student-created AAPI history posters were displayed at libraries, schools, universities, community festivals, and public venues across the Triangle, helping educate and inspire thousands of community members about Asian American and Pacific Islander history, culture, and contributions.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Representative Ya Liu, Cary Town Council Member Bella Huang, and Professor Zeng for joining us as judges and award presenters. Their encouragement and recognition meant so much to our student participants.

Most importantly, congratulations and thank you to every student who participated in the competition and exhibition. Whether you were a winner, exhibitor, volunteer, or youth leader, your creativity, research, and dedication helped bring AAPI stories to life and foster greater cultural understanding in our community.

A special thank you to the Cary Downtown Park staff for their support and for providing such a wonderful venue for both the exhibition and awards celebration.

This program would not have been possible without the support of students, families, educators, community partners, and volunteers who worked together throughout AAPI Heritage Month.

Together, we celebrated history, inspired learning, and empowered youth leadership.
